Sorry to here about Jeff, he was my engine builder and friend,he helped me get my car running faster.I will miss him.

Jeff will always be one of stock and super stocks greatest competitors of all time. The display of National and divional win "Wally's" along with what seems like thousands of class win "wally's" that this guy has accomplished over the years is amazing. Sadly we all have lost a great friend and I will miss him deeply. My deepest sympathy goes to the Stealy family. RIP Jeff, thanks for being there for us all. John Auer

I had not heard this terrible news. I've known Jeff and his pops Jerry since 1975 from when they came to Eddyville Dragway back in the day.

Jeff was a customer of mine for many years when I worked for the performance racing division of Federal Mogul. I've been gone from there 21 months so I have lost touch with many folks and just learned of this.

Jeff and I had allot of fun togather, I worked NHRA divisional and national events country wide for almost 20 years and I was always welcomed with open arms at his trailer no matter where we were.

I'm so sad..... as I too lost my 25 year old son.

May God take good care of him forever.
