Talked to Jeff's dad late this afternoon and the news is very grim. Jeff is not expected to recover and probably only has a short time. Very very sad for the Stealy family and the racing community. Jeff is a excellent driver and all around good guy,our prayers are with him and his family. Bill ,Jane, Melinda & Billy

Jeff is one nice person and i am very proud to say i know him and his Dad Jerry as true friends and now i Have a TIE (tear in eye)

This is very sad to hear. I pitted next to Jeff and his dad at the 2003 US Natl's and they didn't know me from Adam and came over and offered me some help with the tear down cause they saw I was by myself ( had my wife, but not much help coming from her). Then in 2008 Jeff helped me out at the Cordova Points race with my new car in it's maiden voyage passes with a newly built 4.6 supercharged double overhead cam modular mustang. Before the Cobra Jet car's, that's another story in itself. Jeff had built a couple of these motors at their shop and was more than willing to help with what ever I needed. Last time I talked to him he was in remission and sounded very strong. I pray the Lord touches him with his healing hand. Jeff me and my family will be praying for your complete recovery.
