Haley,
IHRA has a awesome bracket program. I won the track championship at Rockingham this year. I then won the division 9 runoff which let me go to the World finals for an 8 car shootout for the World Championship. I won that too. I got: Turn Key Miller dragster Gold and Silver cards $11,000 Ring $800 gift certificate from Simpson Fire Jacket from Summit If you can find a IHRA track near you and want to bracket race It's an AWESOME deal Chip Johnson |

I live in the heart of DIV 1 NHRA and still run IHRA because it is a great time all around. Everyone talks about large car counts, I ran NHRA DIV 1 events this year and the racers and people are great, but it is 10 pounds of sh#@ in a five pound bag. IHRA has 2 races per weekend. A 5 round race in one day is better then compared to a 7 round race over three days, just my .02.

Hopefully my car will be finished in time to race at Memphis. The track is 800 miles from my shop but I'm going to support IHRA and this track if there is any way possible. The racers can turn this into a very important moment in Class Racing history if they will just give these folks a chance.

I will be there also. Andrew will be if he's not in school. Memphis use to be my home track and I always liked to race there.

The true test for IHRA at Memphis will be whether they run a divisional race on 1/8th or 1/4 mile. If it is 1/8th, then they can stuff it.

Why would anybody run 1/8th mile on a track like that? That would be a sure way to endure low car counts.
