Thumbs down Re: How are the new cars remaining in Stock classes going to affect your racing this

Great post and it hits the nail on the head BUT we all know this wont happen. To many are wussies and will not bitch to NHRA......They just raise hell on the forum. Just like when they jack up the entry fees yet the fields fill up almost before they open. Sheep.....Baaaaaaaaaaaaaa !

Cool Re: How are the new cars remaining in Stock classes going to affect your racing this

Terry,

It's called Testing, lets see how much water the balloon can hold before it breaks or we have to fix it ? Lets see how much they can take , before we give them some crumbs ? Over the last 10-20 years, everything has increased , except the payouts !!!

" Happy Holidays " I think ?

I started this thread a few days ago and I have one change I would like to make about how the new cars are going to affect our racing this year. Andrew and I are going to join IHRA in January and support them by going to some races this coming year. If you don't like how you are being treated at NHRA let's give IHRA some support and see what happens. We will have to go farther but we are going to do it.

Hey, I was going to talk to you about that when I got home. Sounds like an awesome idea to me!

Greg
How is it better in IHRA?
Unless they get their own class to run in or they change the bogus factor I dont see how it is any better at all....
They may not affect the Carb cars but the FI cars still have to deal with them and their complete bogus factor

IHRA already has a "new car only" AA/FI class.
They should be able to continue along that line with BB/FI, CC/FI, etc. since there are now a wider variety of those cars. Let's hope they do.

Greg & Andrew ,

IHRA is not perfect , but the people are very supportive of sportsmen
racers ... You will find a big difference on how you are treated at the races by everyone ... I think you will find it more like what NHRA
use to be like ... Remember when Racing use to be Fun, win or lose, just being treated like a Sportsmen Racer ... I think that's what you will find at the IHRA races , give them a chance you won't be Sorry ... As you know it's all about having choices where you can race, not where you have to race ... As you see they are trying to keep the costs down for racers in these Tough times ...
Try it you might just like racing again , people are great and can't help you enough... I think everyone should try IHRA and see for themselves what they are all about ... You will be surprised at how much of a difference it is ... Step up and see ...
I don't think there's a right or wrong answer here , it's about where you choose to spend your money ... Enjoy, you be the judge on where you race ... " Happy Holidays "

So the only cars that run in that new class are the DP cars and the New Mustangs?
No other or older cars in that class?
And also are the new cars limited to that class?
If so congrats to IHRA I hadn't seen that....
