Two qustions,
First, I see no one mentioned Liberty trans. Is there a reason that no one recomends them?
Second, what is the advantage of the long shifter over a shorter one? It seems like you would be able to shift quicker with a shorter shifter
Thanks, Chuck

I run a G-Force, but a 5 speed. Call and ask them if they have any rebuilt or trade-in's. If they do you will get to select whatever gear ratios you want. Plus it will be like new.

Biggest difference: customer service. G-Force will have your part in stock and will provide service if needed in a timely fashion. I've personally seen Mike Long take a transmission home from the track on a Sat afternoon and return it on Sunday morning. (You didn't hear that from me....).

Jerico will order your part and get it to you as soon as possible.

These are my experiences.

Don't try to save money on a clutch. Call Youngblood.

For what it is worth, as far as what to buy goes, I suppose it depends on how much you want to win. I'd say the stick driver with more wins and championships than most any in recent history is Kevin Helms. He runs a Jericho and a McLeod clutch. I don't think you'll get a better endorsement of what works to win on race day than Kevin Helms' record. If we switch to 4 speeds, I know what we're going to buy, exactly what Kevin Helms told us to buy.

I know two former record holders in D/S and both use Jerico. No breakage over many years of racing.
