Exactly where and when did we ever represent ourselves as being better than most?
If you are so insecure that you take the fact that we own one of the newer cars as being evidence of that, you gotta get a life man....

I did exactgly what you or anyone else could have done... I got in line, and got my car. I was a nobody to the racing community and I got my car.... So if you are such a big deal and speak for the whole racing community, you should have been able to step up and get one too...

As for having a big checkbook, I am further in debt with this car than you could even imagine.. But how I paid, and whether or not I could really 'Afford it" are absolutely none of your business and have nothing to do with whether our car runs fast or not.

All it took was stones and money.... But I doubt that you have either, so that is why you complain about the new cars.

I never mention ANYONE by name. Only those who feel guilty of it being a direct attack are offended and so be it. Its just a couple on this site that think they are Gods gift to the racing world with the new cars. It dosent take a lot of brains or talent to run way under with cars that are underrated by 75 to 100 HP.....just the $$$$ to buy the product coming out of Detroit and the desire to spend money. YOU were not one of them nor is Jeff Teuton who I was refering to in my earlier post. . I know Jeff and respect him. He is one heck of a good guy. As far as STONES or the MONEY I have both. I just hate seeing what is going on with the bogus HP raitings making the older cars obsolete. Does my posting make you feel guilty? I wont waste my money on a stocker until I see where NHRA is going with this joke. Some have parked their cars due to this and I dont blame them. Been there and done that 38 years ago when they killed off Jr. stockers in 1972 when it required talent to make a combo work and be respected instead of buying a persons way into a great sport when it didnt cost so much.

Can we knock off the hate of old vs new! You are all sportsmen racers and are in the same boat together. You know when I was at e-town and maple grove you all sat around and waited for days not just the old or new cars. Check your attitudes and come together and fix the problems so fans like me can enjoy all the cars. Sorry I am not a racer so maybe I don't count but without my gate money you would have a place to race anyway.

You still dont get it. Its about making a racers $50,000 to $100,000 investment obsolete with the stroke of a pen !

I do get it believe me. I am just saying that everybody needs to come together and go at glendora and fix the problem so every present and possible future racer can enjoy themselves regardless of what combo they race. See as frustrated as you all get with nhra I am too when I get to the track early so I can see s/ss and because of the track or an accident I don't get to see that but have to put up with the pros that I can see on tv. I like the droozemobile saw it at the dutch but don't want to lose people like john shaul or any other older car. I want larger car counts more heads up elimination runs. So I can get my moneys worth.

I agree 100%, because we need new and old stock and super stock race cars at the track.

Okay didn't know. I am not a mustang guy but do enjoy watching fast cars chase. I can imagine a front wheel drive celica being chased by an a/b stocker. Its always fun to watch cars basing ed's amc more of that is a good thing.

We need the new cars with reasonable hp ratings.

I am a little spoiled here in D1 where the car counts are still good, but I enjoy looking at the national events and seeing s/ss counts over 90.
