Im NOT bashing the guys who have these cars. Why cant everyone understand this. There are only a couple who are racing these cars who think their poop dosent stink. Prior to obtaining one of the new cars they didnt have a car that would fall off a mountian. Its the manufacturers who built these cars and summited the HP ratings plus its NHRA's fault for allowing them in stock in the first place and accepting the HP ratings that the problem exists like it does today.

Hey x-tech do you race? I want the challengers and mustangs hopefully the new camaros and anything else the factories can bring. It would be nice also if mopar and others with nhra make parts more available for racers running older combos so we can all win.

I did race for many years back in the Jr. Stock days then later a SS/IA Camaro up until around 1980. Got stupid and got married in 78 and the $$$$$ wasnt there to freely spend on toys. Worked as a tech official for 2 years with NHRA in the 74-75 era then 22 1/2 years with IHRA. Now that Im retired for the second time I now have the money to go racing BUT Im NOT going to pi$$ my money away until NHRA lets everyone in on their little secret of what they are going to do about the new under rated cars and if the old cars are going to get a screw job in the rules. It would be stupid to buy a nice older A or B stock automatic car fro $50,000 plus right now.

Well nice to.meet ya x-tech maybe guys like you tha understand the tech part should get together something with racers of new and old cars and present it to the tech department in glendora. I would love to be a future stock racer in a or b also. I like the new cars, but would love to roll out a 62-64 max wedge or a 68-69 b-body.

You would have to ask them. I cant speak form them or anyone else. Im just saying that the racers wont stick together and agree on anything. Never have and I doubt they ever will. Fletcher changed engines to try and get away from the new cars in A. B, and C.
