Seeing that we're Canadian eh, I would say Barrie Poole and Sandy Elliott's Cobra Jet Mustangs.

It would be hard to beat our old Saleen mustang 9.38 @ 147 (in 1994) at 2950 pounds and still using the clutch on all shifts. No telling how fast one would go today with a clutchless.. Oner of those cars in GT/A should go 860's. With the new parts approved it should have a longer fuse... haha

..considering, there's a certain GT/A car from TN, that was the first in the 8s, I'd have to vote for him...

you also have to throw in Jeff Colvert, I think he was the first 9sec SS/G car
Let's not forget about the elder Leblanc, this car has set many, many records!!!!

As I tend to judge cars by there performance not how good the drivers are or there winning records I'll throw my vote for Shawn LeBlancs' awsom 8.98 pass GT/A ride.
I also like Jeff Veldes red 68 and John Turleys SS/F 69 back in the late 70's. There is another Bad ***** 69 around but like everyone else I can't remember who it is. Jeff Colvert SS/G 4456
