Apparently you weren't at Brainerd this year. One puked all over the track right in front of me before the semi-finals of Stock eliminator. We were down for what had to be all of 30 minutes.

Actually I was there, but wasn't covering the class. I don't have national event data stored on my computer so I can't access the run log, but I'll trust your time frame perception, and retract my statement that they don't ever have oildowns.

Actually, there was an outcry when Top Whatever was added. A large, disgruntled, existing customer base that was pushed further away from the track, both on it and and in the pits, but thats life. Hell, I might be racing TS next year...
No one has a hard on for snowmobiles, but you're talking to people (read stock/ss) who are constantly put on the back burner for virtually anything that moves, and here we are adding classes. They could probably run Juniors there, too. I mean, hey, it will only take a few minutes. Spin it however you want. All I know is I think poor Bob Lang probably aged ten years this season. I just hope he has a "uneventful event". Safe travels and good luck to all in the home stretch... |
