I think that Jack and Rock have said it all there's nothing wrong with being comfortable if you can afford it. You can rough it out but the enjoyment factor can be affected by your pain threshold your willing to live with. I first brought a motorhome to the race track in the eighties to bring my family with me when I race, this way the children had a place to eat and sit while Dad was running his car.lol This went a long way at keeping the peace between my wife and I. I find it a very nice way to travel to the races and now I don't have to get hosed by the locals(motel, restaurants) with their over price rooms just because the circus is in town. Love to see the enginuity of racers when it comes to their transportation. When it rains it takes to second to get everything ready for the road, try that with a tent.(I know I've done it lost of time). If you can afford it go for it. CR
