Tim and I have been friends since 1965 and I could not be more happy for him. He has worked hard at being competitive since his first class win at the 15th US Nationals in 1969 against Jim Waibel.

Great final and I couldn't be more proud of such a nice guy and dedicated racer. Tim had called me and had the car apart end to end prior to Indy and it all came together. Nice job Tim!
