170 cars made the first pass. Teuton has power on Tues. 1.27 or so under. We still aren't fast enough. Only .77 under. Lots of the new cars had trouble staging and will show up with no time. It may be a while before the times are posted. They were showing lots in the wrong class.

Here are the weather numbers for the first qualifying session in stock.
Temp 83 Humd 51% Bar 29.11 DA 3290 wind, 2-4 cross tail They just call Super Stock to lanes. The air is up to 3800ft, and like Patsy said, its HOT ! |

I see that still have not posted on DRC. Blossom was fast but I don't know if he was in the right class. Teuton was 1.27 under, Holbrook 1.24 under, Fezell went 9.44, 1.15 under @ 144mph. Lots of the new cars left before the tree was activated--Johns, Beattie, Bales, Rodgers. Geary and Downing were leaking. Gary Emmons had starting line problems and didn't go down. Duzac had problems down track.
More later. Right now we are around #80 at .77 under. |

Accidental, or just another way to beat the AHFS? I'm sure these racers have on-board data logging systems that would display their E.T. regardless of whether they get a time slip or not.
