Slick setup.
My concern would be the car up on top moving around during transport.

I wonder if anyone has ever made one of those school bus conversions look cool ?
Gene Pearson's (Impossible Dream 67 Camaro B/MP) school bus conversion was the best. Heck, he even raced it down the 1320 once and won a trophy at Minnesota Dragways.

Here's one from the York Reunion - Bill Jenkins' Oleynik-bodied hauler sitting in the car show area. It's for sale, but I'm sure the asking price is way up there, given the Jenkins' connection. In the day this was "top-of-the line"!

Wow, those are some great photos. I love the U-haul conversion, especially the fact that he kept the U-haul colors and even has "Mom's Attic" still on it! I used to daydream about building a similar one from a 26' U-haul, but leaving the garage area enclosed. I figured on building some ramps to keep the nose of the car up for clearance while loading, and storing stuff like spare motor & trans underneath.

Does anyone remember the school bus conversion used by "Horrible Herb" on the West Coast in the 1980's? He had an Opel GT S/G car, and the conversion had an open rear area (similar to the U-haul above minus the lift), and the rest of the bus was living quarters, but still painted as a school bus.

I remember in the later 80's we had a pit vote for the ugliest tow rig (mostly confined to Super-Gas, we were bored waiting for our turn at a national event). In the running was my truck (primer-nose 1973 Blazer), Kris LaPoint's ramp truck, Ted Seipel's ramp truck, Don Elgin's ramp truck, and Horrible Herb's bus. I think Herb won, but I got an honorable (dishonorable?) mention.

Here's a couple of pics from Class racer. I'd love to see more open trailers and any original set ups.
