When you said 'puts fans in the stands' then that leaves out any sportsman drivers. (Hey that's what you all say here!) You didn't say it has to be a drag racing driver, so I'll go with Darrell Waltrip.

Cool Re: Driver for DeMarzo?

There might be trouble in paradise....I spoke to my driver and invited to come and drive the car at a test seesion this weekend. He said he would fly in. The problem is that he lives within 30 minutes of me and my house is nestled nicely between Laguardia and Stewart which are 1 hour away. If he can't find his way to my house how is he going to find the staging lanes let alone the finish line.

That led me to ask about his credentials again and what had he accomplished. I was told that he could have won 2 events but lady luck was not on his side? When I pushed for details the first event his catagory was not schedled until later in the day and he was eating lunch, PBJ I believe. NHRA screwed the guy by calling his catagory out of order and not only interupting lunch but he told me he was not mentally prepared to race and red lighted. The other time he said he would have won but did not go to the race because of circumstances beyond his control?

I think his racoon got hepititis or something. I do not think this is going to work out, I may have to drag Angelo DiTocco out of moth balls. The guesses are great especially Genovese's double D. Frankie you taught me well.......

Keith, Vito can not find his car keys. He lives 15 minutes from me and still can't find my house. In fact I think he no longer knows where his business is. Vito is out!

Joe, I'm sorry that I haven't gotten back to you about the job but I've just been too darned busy what with the success of the "Adopt A Geezer" program and the preproduction schedule for my upcoming TV show (to go up against Drooze). Sorry but I'll have to decline the offer to drive.
Keep an eye out for the TV show though! It's a half hour comedy about a Sportsman racer that still tries to be competitive even though he insists on building his cars based on the Rule Book. It's called "American Fool".
