Good job, Michael.
Now, all you 've got to do is get deep staging brought back to class racing...

Good for you! Congrats on getting the wife "dialed in" to our wonderful sport.

I'm with everyone else tho', she has one of the best teachers the sport has to offer.

Unk

You got that right! She was pretty solid on the tree her first ever weekend of racing, being able to deep stage. Shallow staging that car makes it 10x harder to find the zipcode of the tree.

On Sunday, Jill was .014 off the trailer. First round she was .06x and said she knew she was late. Just got packaged up. Monday, we went right into first round of eliminations with no time trials. To quote Chris Plott. "I saw her rolling through that last bulb and it turned green. I 'bout threw up on my steering wheel." She was .004. She was still in, going into the 3rd round. Made it into the rainout split!

Um, yeah.... let's not talk about dial-ins... the crew chief sucked this weekend, but the driver was good! The wind was really tricky. She comfy with the burnout toward the end of the weekend, and it started repeating 60's dead on, and the 330' times were all great. Just kept moving around in the back half. It was one of those Maple Grove-like weekends, where it'd go from head to tail and back all day. Great first outing, though!
