Steve : The answer to your question to why the touring pro sportsman win a lot is very simple seat time and practice, seat time and practice , practice and even more seat time . Most true sportsman don't have the time to do this .very simple answer

Don, That is so true. It is hard for many to even get to the races due to economy, business obligations and such. No part of what Dan does in crossing the country several times a year and alot of time away from home sounds appealing to me. When you have to win to feed your family, it takes on a whole different meaning when you win. Ironically, one of the other names that came up in the conversation was Kevin Helms, who was the runner up.

tpoh815; No need to hate him he is one of the lucky ones who get to race more than you just do what he does and you will win more if you have a race car . Just be a " touring pro sportsman" is a very simple way to win.

Don, tpoh815 says that every time Dan wins. It's a joke!!! Yeah it's so easy and fun travelling the country wondering and hoping when/if you're going to win and be able to pay the bills. Why not try it yourself awhile and call yourself a touring sportsman pro. You'll win all the time too if it's so easy... |

I can remember Dan Fletcher running two cars at a race in London Ontario where he lost in Super Stock and won with his other Camaro in super pro many moons ago, I thought at that time that he would become a good driver if he only concentrated on just one class, I was wrong, he was perfecting his craft. I'm sure no one really hates him personally, they just envy his courage and conviction, because most of us would give our left testicle to be in his shoes. Congratulation Mr Fletcher
