That Mustang was probably one set up for S/S????? Roy Hill has been going some 8.70's with his ride.

For what's it's worth I was at Atco when he made that run. When we came out for the 2nd time shot Fezell wasn't in the record lanes. No circled R or circled B on the windows.I was told he made an aborted run on that 2nd run. That is kind of strange.I also heard that he was told not to back the 9.41 up but it doesn't affect me so I could really care less. What does though is that that car is on the ragged edge going down the track, whether it's driver inexperience or chassis setup I don't know. Now I'm going about 95 mph at the finish line and he's going 147 mph,
now that is a bit of a concern to me.

Heres a question for the really fast guys. How much more can these stocker tires handle with the stock type suspensions?

Stock Suspension ! yea right. Here is a question, they can find a way to hook, I want to know how they will keep from flipping over when they hit the brakes hard at 150mph to keep from running out and a tire blows ? What kind of diaper will they need then ?

Look around at some of the outlaw heads up classes. There are cars on 26 x 8.5" slicks running mid to low 5 sec 1/8 mile times. The mustang stock suspension is a great working piece also. Lots of cars running fast with stock suspension.
