Mechanical throtle stops work good, would need to add too much weight to get that much out of it...

May try swaping out the 4bbl for a decent 2 bbl carb... less fuel/air= less power....

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I picked up a throttle stop made by moroso today. looks like it will work pretty good !

This is the cheapest way to do it, and much easier to adjust than a bolt under the gas pedal. I know an old super street 10.90 racer that still uses this part to slow the car down for that index. Best of luck.
