Tim, I've never had one of those colonospagettis but I've been told by lots of people that I'm a "perfect a**hole!" Heck, at least one of them must have been right so I guess I'm OK!

Tim, "Colonoscopy"
Billy. Looking at what other auto racing groups tried could we not have a true spec motor class,? we really need to look somewhere to get an idea how to beat the Cost of drilled cranks, turbo spec sheets, Trick rocker arms. Or is it the "racing someone" you miss? |

Dick, I would love to see somebody try something with restrictor plates and collector outlet size restriction. Michael Beard and I played around years ago with dozens of engine combos and when we restricted the inlet and outlet they all made close to the same power no matter how big or how small or what was inside. I know that is an over simplification and I don't remember the sizes that we used but I was suprised. I think sombody in Div. 3 tried something like that years ago and it never caught on. Might be an interesting thing to try for a "heads up" deal.
I think in this financial climate anything that isn't somehow restricted will fail because of the $$$ that would need to be invested. It has to be something that will use existing cars.

randy i said it before and i'm still with you on this spec head deal.it would cut the cost of getting started in superstock and comp also.ss/cs was what that started out as but all 3 manufactures didn't buy in.

Would either of you please explain to me how "spec heads" will help Stock Eliminator? Because if you change Stock Eliminator into a "spec head" class, it will be Stock Eliminator in name only. It ain't the name people want to keep, it's the class.
