Someone that races up here converted a old Winnebago into a race car hauler. You`d never know there`s a car in the back of that thing. Oh yeah,he runs a Triumph TR-7,so it`s not big enough for a "normal" race car inside.

Nope, hard top. He built that himself too. With a 440 Mopar in it,he runs mid 10`s at Bandimere.

That is so cool. I have wanted a ramp truck for years because my wife and I both race door cars. Cool setup you have there !!

Beautiful ramp truck!! I remember years ago Larry Bernshausen (SGer) used to haul to our local track with an open ramp truck and the Vega wagon on it pulling an open with a 67or 8 Camaro on it (or vice versa). I wish I had a pic still, they were all painted up and looked good.

Damm, and I thought we were the only ones stupid enough to build a 90 inch 440 TR7
![]() I know a guy in Cali with an 11 sec sb convertible was looking for a rust free car to build a chassis car with and he saw ours online during its build and wanted to buy it since the chassis was done and it was a rustfree starter when we got it...but couldnt come up with enough money.... The winnebeago Idea rocks with that car....Its short enough I thought about screwing with my dad and having a couple buddies turn it on it side and put it in my office....it was about 2 inches too tall to make it through the door....Why I thought that would be funny I dont know....it just...well its a SHORT car....I had to adjust my 4 link to make 90 inches ![]() |

That is a Hodges, Paducah, kentucky--that particualr truck spent most of its life in the southeast and then the west coast-we looked at several, however the paint on the hauler half is pretty poorly applied-they go for the shiny look, but rust eats them away pretty quickly in the winter states. and that body is WELDED to the trucks frame, making it tough to recondition. on the underside it is left bare steel, so they rot through if they see any winter use at all. This was the nicest one we found in a year of looking.
