I run both the AFR 210cc and the 227cc heads. On the 210cc heads I use a regular Moroso SBC stud girdle and ARP studs with no problem what so ever and everything lines up perfect. Now on the 227 they relocate the valve to clear the intake port and you have to run their girdle as it is machined correctly and offset rockers or run shaft rockers. I am pretty sure the 195cc heads use standard valve locations, I would think its either a machining problem with the jegs girdle or studs that dont run true.

They may have 40\60 stud/valve spacing like the 867 pontiac heads(for SBC) If thats the case you may find some used ones floating around, but to get new you would have to buy from Crane?,Comp, Jomar,AFR
