Default Re: Numidida

This could be why...

If you attended the Open there last year, you would have noticed a few things.

1. The starting line traction was terrible. I've never seen so many cars in all classes having trouble getting down the track. You saw big tire SS'ers with not much power blowing them off. The race was on July 25th at it was "only" 82 degrees. 77-82 all day to be exact. So the sun and heat was not an issue. It could have been much worse.

2. They track decided to patch up all the potholes in the pits. This is a good thing. But it seemed like they patched it the day before the race because anyone that drove over these fresh laid asphalt patches ripped it right up and slung the hot sticky mess all on the underside of their cars. I know I and many others were scraping that sh!t off for weeks.

I like Numidia a lot and I would like to see a divisional there. I think the facility is nice and it's the best place in the country to watch the finish line racing.
The way I look at it, D1 gave Numidia an Open to prove that they could handle a Divisional. I don't think they passed the test. Both of the situations I pointed out could have and should have been handled differently.
