Personaly never ran a dragster but the one thing I can think maybe an issue is with the longer car are you going to get a good starting line at the hit. I am thinking that your tires are alittle farther back than most bracket dragsters (215 -225 inches) and way back from the door cars. I don't know maybe this is an advantage.

Novassdude Thanks for the response.
There seems to be as many opinions on the starting tire location then Obama has bail out Plans!! The most common appears to be that the 215" cars are a little short ( by today's standers)and kind of stuck in no-mans land being longer than a doorslamer but shorter than the current thinking in dragster which i think is 225-240. That's why as hoping for some of the dragster guys or gals to chime in. |
