They have Tom Kreiger working for them. That's good.
The problem I see is WAY too many classes.

I agree. In the early days they had way too many classes, everybody tried to crawl off into a class by themselves. At national events guys changed classes like crazy to get away from somebody faster, to try to win class. Most all of them were extremely slow. NHRA has too many now, just not as bad as AHRA was. They probably won't have heads-up races either. Just more bracket racing.

It sounds a little like NHRA and IHRA today. Guys trying to crawl off into a class by themselves......
