Sean,
I posted this on page 2; you might have missed it: ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Speaking of rotay Mazda's and "L-O-U-D".... I was at a Div VII Points Meet at Sears Point (Infineon?) about 8 or 10 years ago... not sure about the date, and they were running a Breakout Eliminator called "SUPER", which had a 7.90 dial... Somebody had one of these 2-rotor Wankels in a Rear Engine dragster chassis and had a G.M.C. 4-71 roots-style blower bolted to the side of the engine, driving it with a conventional Gilmer belt. Every time it made a pass, everything stopped... people would stand, dead-in-their tracks... it was like two Fuelers running at once... The poor guy in the Big Block Chevy rear-engine dragster in the next lane couldn't hear his engine at all, I'm sure, because all I could hear in the stands, was that blown Mazda... WAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..................... Must have been a new car, because he broke out with a 7.68 (!), as I recall... It was awesome... __________________ ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++++ Has to be the same car....

Anyone else out there know this car? Is it still around? I'd imagine it would a really cheap, low maintenance way of going fast.
