The Mustangs will be much faster as soon a someone pulls a motor and sets it up like the rest of the stockers. These are REAL stock engines and some do not even have the cams replaced yet. I would say 9:40's are not out of the question. Cant wait to see one run set up for Super Stock using current technology.

Question: How does a AA/SA CJ go .35 faster than an A/SA CJ, when it's only, at the most, 200 and some odd lbs lighter?

100# is a tenth does not always apply, especially to little boosted motors.

Agree, those things sounded like regular street cars when they drove by in the pits. Would have to say though that a few of the guys doing the work in the barn today seemed to know their way arround the engines pretty well, looked like they had been there before.

Doesnt Rock Haas' car have current technology..its been 9.30s.
