Bales has a few different motors that he purchased from other racers. He also had an engine being built by Bischoff but I don't know if that's the motor in the car. I know who's been helping Marvel but I can't remember the name off the top of my head. Campbell bought the ex-Wilkes Cuda and they were doing their own engines before they sold the car so I assume that their engine is still in the car. Could be wrong... I don't know who does Zrust's stuff. Did I miss anyone??

I heard that Howes had the Armstrongs do some work on the Westcott powerplant.

That's correct. Armstrong did put Howes' motor together but did so using Westcott components.

If I remember correctly he had ground the screw heads flush with the butterflys and they wouldn't let that pass.
