Just wondering if there is anyway that Drag Race Central can report the 1000 ft times in Class Eliminations for Stock / Super Stock, since most everyone will probably be shutting off well before the finish line to avoid the dreaded AHFS in the forecasted Indy mineshaft conditions?

If you could get that information....put it the WRONG HANDS there would be major changes in horsepower I bet.
I see it as pretty funny NHRA is so detailed oriented but they don;t look at 1000' times and slow mph on cars that dominate a class. I guess that is the way it has always been and everyone is used to that. Just a newbie seeing things a little different. When will they do a surprise check of tachometers, ignition boxes or data recorders? That might turn up some surprises. ![]() It's Indy and strange things happen. Hope you all have a great time there and the weather stays cool and fast. |

or you could provide the 1/8th mile times in which we can convert them ourselves.

I think you can buy the time slips, just like the racers gets after his or her run, Like buying Qualifier`s and run order sheets. Tom

What would be interesting is to just show your reaction time and 1/4 mile time and speed on et slip only.Bet that would make qualifying and ladder placement very interesting.

Chris , at the CV Products trailer(I believe), can provide you with all stats. It is what he does for a living. The pros and some teams pay for it by the year, but you you can pay by the event.
We receive all comp incrementals for every run. It is very informative. Greg Schenck |

What you'd need to see is the % of throttle opening on the new cars.
