Check the recent threads on the Thunder Valley Dragway pictures, for more info on Matts car. I was talking with Al Kuehl about this car in the more recent posts to that thread, and per Al, the car ran a 10.68 @ Brainerd last May!!!

That's cool Al, if he can do that with a 273, I wonder what he could do with my 173. Kind of makes me want to either live closer to you guys (at least until the first snow, then not even a Top Fuel Dragster could get me away from there fast enough...ROLOL), so I could see what kind of magic he could perform on my lil' V6? That is if he'd even want to touch it??? Might not be enough cylinders, or cubes for him...lol???

Gotta love a guy that strays from the beaten path! Love these "oddball" combos that guys are brave (smart) enough to run! This type mentality keeps stock and superstock from becoming a monkey see monkey do, cookie cutter eliminator. Way to go, keep the class racing interesting. Don Jackson

There was an article on a U/SA 273 Mopar Wagon in Mopar Action magazine a couple of years back, it said that the 273s could run the late EFI -pre Magnum 318 "302" castings as a supercede number. Heart shaped chambers, swirl ports etc etc. Pretty good heads but they still have the little 273/318 port size. I'm thinking velocity is important with them, Perhaps these are the heads Matt runs?
