Phillips wins at Numidia

The Mid Atlantic Super Gas Association was able to get 1 out of 2 races in this weekend at Numidia Dragway. On Saturday 20 cars lined up for 1st round and in the end we had a brand new winner for the MASGA Gang. Bob Phillips and his 02 Neon Took out points leader Earl Nichols in the finals after Earl went .004 red.
On Sunday a rain front that was supposed to roll in mid afternoon greeted us as we awoke from our beds forcing Lucky and Leanne to cancel the race. Due to the rain outs this year (3 out of 8 races) Lucky will be working with the tracks to try to do a make up race somewhere in the near future. Once a date and track is finalized we will let everyone know.
As far as points go with his runner-up finish on Saturday Nichols will take a 54 point lead over D.V. Richardson into the next race at Atco Raceway August 15th & 16th. Anyone who would like to test and tune before the Toyo Tires Nationals the weekend following is more then welcomed to come on down.
