After being blinded by the setting sun this weekend in Columbus, I realized I need a new visor. I have an Impact Vapor, with the standard clear visor. With the setting sun behind the tree, I knew I was in trouble, and proved myself right with a .100 light.
Any recommendations to reduce the glare and/or the effects of the sun being in your face? Impact has several options for the Vapor helment, just wondering what might be best. http://www.impactraceproducts.com/it...tegory=SHIELDS

I used the amber shield that Impact offers for the first time at the D1 race at Lebanon Valley.... the sun is known to cause problems there in the afternoon as the track goes from east to west .... I had no problems while using that shield and actually liked it better than the amber one on my Simpson helmet..... and it comes with the black tape across the top edge....

Tell Steve to get moving. You might be outrunning me when it's done.
