NHRA guide is wrong.

I looked at them new in 63 before going into the service. No 4 speed and no 4 barrel.
Bought a Dodge when I got out and never looked back.

The NHRA guide is NOT wrong. I had a friend that bought a new LeMans in 1963 and I saw it the day he brought it home from the dealer. 326 w/4 bbl and a 3 speed. I bought a used one in 1965 that had been run hard. It had a blown-up 389 and a 4 speed trans axle, that were transplanted, but I was told that it also was an origional 326 4 bbl car.
Incidentally, the 63 326 was actually a 336. It had a slightly larger bore than the later 326s.
