I think all the regulars will be there this year, next year I may reconsider. I heard yesterday that MP had to spend 30K with NHRA for us to get 10K at indy. I dont know if this is exactly true, but I wouldnt be surprized.

Many many years ago I attended an IHRA with a shirt that said "Who is Wally Parks" on the front and "Who Cares" on the back. I think those times are back again.
![]() For a few years I attended Indy as a racer, then as a spectator of many years watching Sat, Sun & Mon. Then I realized what I was missing, now I see a better show on Thursday & Friday. I head home on Saturday. I have already seen the BEST racing!! ![]() ![]() Last edited by Frito; 06-26-2009 at 04:29 AM. |

I believe there are a lot of ways that NHRA gets money from sportsman racing that isn't counted when they claim we don't support ourselves. Like all the track fees where the pros never run, unclaimed contingencies, the list is a lot longer I think.
