I attend Indy every year for all 6 days, so I am well aware of what you are saying David. My point is the schedule on the NHRA website specifically lists the Hemi Shootout on Friday as part of SS class elims. It is listed that way every year, but with Chrysler declaring bankruptcy this year, I don't know if I should believe that the Hemi Shootout will be held. Any info that anyone has will be appreciated.

The Hemi Shootout is Class Eliminations. If Mopar pulls out we're still racing heads-up like we did before Mopar ever pitched in.
