Terry,

I remember when "trick", was a Mr. Gasket in-line shifter. That was the neatest thing I ever put in my Mustang. In the 70's. a rev limiter, wasn't that keeping the rods in the motor! Which I failed at, a couple times. With all the gadgetry today, driving a car by the seat of the pants is a lost art. There was a real feeling, a stiff clutch, slamming against a 50 lb flywheel at 7000+ rpm. Planting a set of 10.5 x 29.5 M & H Racemasters on old heavy Cragar SS wheels. Hoping you don't leave something setting on the starting line, like your tailshaft, driveshaft, pinion gear or an axle, LOL! Oh, yes, those were the days.
