question. is it ok to run braided line from your tranny to cooler and clamp it with steel line to rubber hose connected to tranny cooler w/ running a transbrake?

Ken, a dash bar is only reqired on a 8.50 tag car if the tunnel and floor have been modified beyond the allowed 6 square feet as stated in the rule book. Joe

Thank you Joe. It's not easy to find a spot for a dash bar in late Malibu's. And I'm a few 10th's away from a 9 second slip. And with the cert fees going up.....well, low ten's sound OK.

Does anyone know if the dash bar has to be on the inside of the firewall? Mine is on the engine side. It passed cert when they added the dash bar requirement, but I haven't had it certified in over 10 years now.
