Default Stock Eliminator K-member question

I believe I know the answer but can't find it in the rule book so thought I would ask. Can I run an aftermarket K-member in IHRA? I'm building a '94 Camaro to run S/GTB ('71 350/330 LT1 with a Jerico). Also, if I have to run the stock K-member I would like to remove the OEM steering components to run a lighter, aftermarket manual unit. Who makes something to bolt up to the factor K-member? Thanks!

Thanks. I figured as much on the cross member. I called Flaming River today to get a part # and price and they said they do not make anything in a box or rack for my application. ??? Anyone know any differently or another company? I appreciate the help.

Thanks guys. I found the complete kit at the site you suggested Ed. Hey ... I didn't know you were running Super Stock. You used to do the PCMs for my bolt-on Impala SS that I ran in Pure Stock too. I got tired of all those underhood wires so I'll go back to a carb on this one ... Always enjoyed working with you and loved your customer service!

Great! Thanks! Brian (Madman) does a lot of late F body cars. Good guy to deal with also.
