Of all of the phone calls I`ve ever had,this was one of the toughest to hear. Jody and Toby,my condolences to you,as well as your brother,father and family. We all will have fond memories of your mom,and for me it is three hugs. She made you feel like you were her family,and proud of your accomplishments,but none like the ones of her boys. She beamed of her sons success,like all moms do,but she was also a part of the team. Janet,Mom,you will be missed. God bless. Lane

Toby,Jody and Lang family.I was very saddened to hear about Janet.Your mother was a great person to all of us.She is one of the big reasons it's enjoyable to go to the track and see friends.I am glad I had a good visit with her,in vegas last year while waiting in the line up. Shawn Kvaas

Toby & jody we are very saddened by the passing of a very special mom. it's a loss to everyone who knew her, she was one of the nicest lady's at the track. when i knew that she was at the track i always looked her up to say hi, and to talk about how good of a year you all were having. she truly loved her family, i know you had to be proud to say EVERYBODY THIS IS MY MOM. a very sad day for the WOOD family.

Janet you will be truly missed,,when i started bracket racing she was there, when i started stock & superstock racing she was there..she will always be remembered with the 3 wheeler and note pad in hand @ the fence.. for so many years......Im sure i can speak for many NW racers. Janet was and will be a great lady to remember...

My heart goes out to you both for your loss. Her devotion to help you both succeed has always been a wonderful thing to witness. It is always difficult to see the reference of a loss in the topic line. This is a very tough one obviously for many of us. I can't remember a race where I did not see Janet making her way around the pits in support of Toby and Jody. And always with a smile, a warm greeting or time for a quick chat. Generally speaking good parents "make" good children. I have to say that it the case with the Langs. Toby and Jody are 2 of my favs in our pits and obviously 2 of the toughest competitors that any of us see!
Toby and Jody rest assured that Janet will always be with you. Let the warm memories create peace in you and get you through the tough times. Obviously your racing family has your backs. Let us know if you need anything.
