Well,
We were without power for a total of 6 hrs. A big thanks to Harrison Co. REMC and especially one board member by the name of David Walther.
Still no cell service and HS internet is touch and go.
Fore cast is for another 5-6 inches of Snow first part fo the week. I haven't been to work since Tuesday. Wife works for school system so she's off until at least Monday, maybe longer. I'm starting to get cabin fever.

Here near Mt Vernon IL we just got the snow and very little ice. Our state and county roads are good but township roads are terrible. We got the Ice last year and I know what you guys are up against hopefully you all will get power back sooner than expected.

We are so lucky that Al Gore and his globall warming is helping us out of a real problem. Just think how bad it could be if he wasn't lying to the world so he could get rich.

Larry, Patsy, and all others, I feel for you guys. We had the same problems down here after Ike. We were without power for 2 weeks. I ran out of gas after 3 days. Same deal, no power at the stations. I had to get resourceful. If you know any trucking people or construction people, they could have above ground tanks. Even if they have electric pumps, you can syphon the fuel.

Hey Patsy,
I bet you wish you had that motor home full of fuel. I learned that a long time ago. Always keep fuel tank full and put storage stablizer in it. Didn't Provoast teach you anything ? Come on down the weather is fine.
We will put all of you up.
