Last night at the NHRA Division One banquet Tom Goldman who races in both Stock and SuperGas ( as well as owner of GAS Racing) was crowned the D1 "Sportsman of the Year" -- well deserved Tommy -- its about time "they" noticed what a good guy you really are . I personally have been on the receiving end of your sportsmanship for a very long time ( almost forty years to be exact ) and can't thank you enough but its even better to see others notice and you receive your "props" . Wow,that's great.I can't think of anyone in Div 1 more deserving of this award.For those of you who have never been to the track with Tom I can tell you there isn't a more helpful person.He rarely gets a chance to just sit and relax(except at George's Sat night food fests).God knows how many times I'm at his pit spot for some kind of help.Sometimes you have to take a ticket and get on line.Never an unsatisfied customer.
And he can cook good too.
Congrats Tom,Kathy and Maggie the Wonder Dog.
