my daddy had a 66 plymouth hemi wagon.ran ss/fa in div. 2 nhra. also ran ihra and set ssfa record in 1974 @ rockingham.i think it had to weigh 4800 for a 480 hp hemi.did not have any pictures except paper clippins from national dragster when he won turkey trot nationals in bradenton fla. i have no idea where those clippins went.his name is ed lewis,ss/fa 2108

Don Roddy ran this wagon in SS/IA class at my local track in the seventies. Don now runs a pro mod 56 T-Bird.

Good ol' Bob Rice has the pictures, doesn't he? That Plymouth wagon is how I remembered Al Corda. Seemed strange to see him racing a Pontiac.
I remember Jack's Pontiac wagon very well. I remember it's tail lights. ![]() Got to talk to Jack at the national event Memphis this past summer. Always one of my favorite racers. "Gentleman Jack" fits him very well. If you get the chance, get him to tell you about breaking the engine in that wagon at a Laplace div points race. That has to be one of the winingest cars ever in div 4.

Heard a story one time about the big ponco wagon falling out of the converted bus,tow vehicle, and bouncing way up in the air asIT Hit the tarmac!!!!!!!!!!
