Default Is there life after racing for your car?

If something were to happen to racing as we know it, for what ever reason. What would happen to the racecar that brought you so many memories? Would you park it, cover it up and walk away only to be burried in it one day? Would this be that one day? LOL Would it become a show car, a street rod, pro street, restore to original condition? Would you part with the car, or find another way to enjoy it and savor the memories? Is there life after racing for your car? I guess it depends on the connection, commitment, dedication, to that thing. I have a huge connection to my cars as the creator, builder, designer. Although I have sold some along the way, I still have the one with the most memories. And when I drive it or work on it, I reflect on those good times. That is very therapeutic for me, and something to think about. I am building a new car (60 Corvette) and hopefully can build some great memories. I will surely love racing it, and I'm building it to last. Because you never know when that Super/Stock car will retire or be phased out, and be put out to pasture (back on the street) with this old man at the wheel. Here's my yesterday and today photos of the ole Roadster
