I saw on local news and Facebook Bader is going to open against Gov. DeWine orders, this could get interesting.

Just saw that on HLN news. He says if he doesn't get to open this summer, track will be out of business!

My home track but I cannot support his decision on this. I won't put myself and my immediate family at risk to go racing. Simple math will tell you the death toll and amount of cases are low because people listened. I know folks are anxious to get out but keep in mind this junk is still out there, it hasn't went away yet. We have yet to see the surge but I feel it's coming because of poor decisions like this.

Make sure you watch Bill Jrs. " Facebook Live " explanation of the current status of Summit Motorsports Park in its entirety. Don't jump to any conclusions based on select excerpts that have become the standard in todays "fake" news casts, When a governor makes a stupid comment like, "I'm considering closing all outdoor sporting events in Ohio for 2020", he just drew a line in the sand. Bill Jr. is just the first, of many, that will take on that challenge head on !. Wake up America …..

Our pit spots are far enough away from one another. Standing next to your car in the staging lanes provides plenty space to be far enough from the next guy. If you're waiting with your car in tech, you're plenty far enough from the next guy. I can go on, but you get the point. This early in the year, I'm going to be focused on my car anyways, and not worried about going and conversing with those around me, etc. Last edited by Steve Stasko; 04-17-2020 at 11:46 AM. |

Like the Smithfield pork processing plant in South Dakota. It is not a major city and was not a hot spot. Now it is a hot spot.

Numidia is not a hot spot but many of their regular racers are from NY and NJ. My town Elysburg, which borders Numidia, has Knoebles which is a huge amusement park with miles of campgrounds and a huge amount of their patrons are from the Philly and NYC area, so we could become a hot spot if they open. There's no easy answer to this mess.
