Dad will be admitted into the hospital this morning for knee replacement. I hope everything turns out well. He will be at gadsden regional hospital in gadsden until friday and then he will get to go home !!You can send get well cards to. Horace johnson, 800 hutchins ave. Gadsden, AL 35901. Hopefully this will cheer him up!!!

HI Stephen, met you and your dad a few years ago at National Trail, I believe the Div 3 or the Jeg's meet. Hope everything goes well for your dad.

As the owner of two new knees, one 5 years ago, and one last October, the results are worth the pain, which ain't no fun. Some advice; do what they say, get up, walk, and physical therapy are the answer to a fast recovery. I still go to physical therapy just cause I like to go. Get a workout, find out the fish and game report, get all the gossip from our little town, and sometime have a beer with the PT who I played Little League Baseball with. When you can go to the PT facility, those guys get you well fast. Best wishes. The first couple days are tough, but it gets better fast. Once he is out, if he needs some encouragement, tell him to call me. 985-804-6161

Hey steven hope your dad is doing well. Tell him dad, marvin and myself are thinking about him. When he feels like talking tell him to give me a call. my father in law had both knees replaced 6 months apart and he is doing great now. Horace should do just fine Jerry Dunahoo

I would have figured he would have needed Tommy John surgery to fix his elbow from rowing that 4-speed all these years. Seriously though, the other Johnson gang from Georgia are thinking about your dad. Not sure I've ever met a nicer guy at the drag strip and one who is definitely dedicated to making a 67 Fairlane go down a drag strip. Tell him dad and I say hello.
