Dad will be admitted into the hospital this morning for knee replacement. I hope everything turns out well. He will be at gadsden regional hospital in gadsden until friday and then he will get to go home !!You can send get well cards to. Horace johnson, 800 hutchins ave. Gadsden, AL 35901. Hopefully this will cheer him up!!!

As the owner of two new knees, one 5 years ago, and one last October, the results are worth the pain, which ain't no fun. Some advice; do what they say, get up, walk, and physical therapy are the answer to a fast recovery. I still go to physical therapy just cause I like to go. Get a workout, find out the fish and game report, get all the gossip from our little town, and sometime have a beer with the PT who I played Little League Baseball with. When you can go to the PT facility, those guys get you well fast. Best wishes. The first couple days are tough, but it gets better fast. I think I told you Stephen, I had my left knee scoped twice and the next step is a bionic one! Maybe I'll be able to get off the two step faster! Tell Dad I will be thinking of him and as always Kid, if I can help, just let me know! Jim

Ditto what Mr. Teuton said Stephen...Dad went through the same thing several years ago, and stalled the PT....he never fully recovered. Thoughts and prayers with him, you, and the rest of the family bro!!!

I raced with Horace all around AL in the eighties. A nice man that always had a smile on his face.
