I remember one opening day at Englishtown N.J. where they had the snow plowed into huge mounds in the pits. Temperature was in the 30's wind was howling but we got the day in.

Years ago.... PID opened in late feb or early march.

Tom ,remember the NHRA Open at Keystone[Pittsburgh] Raceway in April ' 78 ]?] snowed like hell at home fri .nite,melted from the highways next day early,thank heavens.
