Captain Jack, Our worst nightmare would be If Billy had the money to spend on his fleet of race cars, that Jack spends in a year on one. ...... He'd have some of the baddest, most obscure cars NHRA has ever seen! .........LOL ..........Maby I can talk Jack into flying me out to the west coast, Buckey flew Phil Mandella east this Spring!

Capt. Jack, I never called Jack a "tightwad". I simply pointed out his unmatched ability to save a buck. I will however add that he does get his mileage out of every buck that he does spend.

Capt/ Jack,

How goes the quest for the Turboglide / Metric 200 swap?

Any definitive word from the Ivory Tower in Glendora yet?

Seels like a lomg time to wait for a simple "yes", or "no" answer...

Or, did I miss something???

Curious minds, etc., etc., etc....

That's what I call being smart and when I spend money only the dogs can hear the high-pitched whine, and I do mean whine- that comes as the money leaves my checking account.

Holy Lean it out Batman is this place slow or what ?Try these numbers on - 62.7 degrees --18.1% humidity --- 28.19 barometer -- .10 vapor pressure and a DA of 2634 -- my weather station is spinning around like a slot machine -- never saw numbers like these .Good thing this is a test and tune as we'll be tuning for sure . Maybe run number two will be better as the first was no record breaker .

On another note let me tell you about the entrance fees-- test and tune today -- Lucas race with one crew person -- $325-- maybe ours isn't so bad after all ......

Billy -- You and the rest have been pretty hard on me the last few days -- I don't recall seeing your rig parked here -- too much to spend ??? Spending wisely isn't a bad thing ........later .

Hey Jack-my street driven Buick is always 3 tenths slower there than it is over here at sea level-but-I have never raced with better starting line preparation than there, with the exception of Norwalk once in 2004. You guys from the eastern side have much better choices in tracks than we have in socal, and we always like to come to vegas, knowing the cars will be slower but the traction and track personnel will be top notch.
