Live from Las Vegas -- NHRA LucasOil Series
 

Today I feel like Willie Nelson -- you know -- "On the Road Again" .As Debbie and I sit in the Newark Airport waiting to board I was thinking just how lucky I am to be on my way to a mini "Western Tour" . Vegas is always fun and this time we can race and take in the SEMA show along the way.Not to mention eat some great food and -- and hopefully spend some time catching up with some of my friends from the "other coast". And maybe if I'm lucky go a few rounds . Time to board.......but I'll try and keep everyone up to date starting with tomorrow's test and tune at Las Vegas Strip ..........later .

wow-that's very cool!! Glad you can make it west, Jack! Though we have never met, I appreciate you and thomas and Patsy keeping me in the loop vicariously. SO you will be in Pomona? If so, and If I get out there, I will look you up and introduce myself.

Jack a man of your wealth and stature , I would have thought would have put a sign in the dealership window saying see ya Dec. 1st . Loaded up the motor home picked up Deb and started driving west . Think about it famous Rt 66 , Wall drug , The black hills , Rushmore , Yellowstone... and Deb could have hit the Mall of America along the way . Think about all you could have written about along the way ! Hey have fun my friend and do your sleep'n on the plane .

Well, we managed to get here -- a little late but here none the less .Way too late to get to the track tonight but I'm sure that made Debbie happy -- she's ready for food and gambling -- in that order ! ! Me -- I'm still pissed at the Budget rental people -- they promised me a Chevrolet and I ended-up with a Toyota . I just knew I should have called my friend at Enterprise -- when will I learn ?

Scubasteve -- yes, that was my car -- leaking all over Billy's truck .

Jack,Toyota instead of chevrolet, that should call for a discount on your bill since you were promised a real car.
