He says its a flat tappet engine. Looks like 87 combo, JKL. He doesn't know what it runs and thats what I am trying to find out. 18k is steep for what could be a around 8-10k in updating

Roller cam combo..The only way to go.
Tough, dependable engine. Danny Lattimore did the engine for the one from NH. I did a couple converters for it, and consulted on the T 200 trans. Been running good for YEARS..Hasn't slowed down yet. Jeff, Give Dave a kick in the butt and tell him it's from me. I don't see those flat tappet deals being a player in J,K,L

We ran the 307 roller 88 model P/SA ran 12.50's in bracket mode.
I think 18 is a bit much but the car did belong to Ray Head who was an ICON in Stock Eliminator |
