Don, correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this kinda/sorta the way it used to be? You had to "qualify" to go to the World Finals?

The damn quotas may have a significant impact on the championships.

Not unlike ihra a while back. Thing I don’t care for in the one race takes all scenario is the world champion can be the guy that just got lucky that day. I know the whole chase is flawed, but I do believe earning points throughout the year and struggling to travel is part of the reward if it pays off

Top 6 in each division go to the finals. Then fill the 50 quota with past champions and gold cards. Then run off a 48 or 32 car ladder qualified off the index. Division winners are pre qualified 1-7 based on divisional points.

This is a great idea this way the level playing field is there with only 5 races in your division counting for the Championship Shoot Out Finals At Bowling Green Drag Strip / Who cares about the national events no one can get in unless you spend a ton of money to get in with a lot of points meets,

So we need to remove dedication and skill from the points chase now?
I for one, enjoyed watching the points chase last year. I really can't see how the system is broken.
